Aqua Paws… canine rehab

This looks so great, canine rehab… she helps injured dogs…  my dog is still hopping on her leg, but we just started our walks… anyone know of a place like this on the West Coast?

AquaPaws gets dogs back on their feet

By Lesley Ann Beck

Last week I spent some time at Fitter Critters in Lee,
watching owner Jody Chiquoine work her magic on ailing
dogs.

As I opened the door, Reilly, a 4-year-old Bernese
Mountain dog, charged past me to greet Chiquoine.
Reilly clearly adores Chiquoine, and with good reason.
Reilly was paralyzed from the neck down in August, and
Chiquoine’s rehab techniques were a big part of the
dog’s excellent recovery.

Fitter Critters offers canine physical rehabilitation
and hydrotherapy — what Chiquoine calls “AquaPaws.”
She uses stretching exercises and massage techniques
in a special heated pool to help dogs who are ill,
have been injured or are recovering from surgery.
After only two years in business, she has a long
roster of satisfied patients.
